Features of Haeundae Beach

Wide stretch beach

Haeundae beach is about 1.5km long and 30~50km wide, contributing to the beautiful coastline of Busan. The sand is white and fine. Its blue water perfect for a swim. Local and tourist would love to flock to the beach every summer for perfect vacation. It also holds the Guinness record for the beach with most deck chairs.

Endless seaview

In cold weather, autumn might not a perfect timing for swimming and water activities. But it is a good chance for us to see other side of it. Phenomenal sea view can be seen in one sight. The legendary East Sea is turquoise and endless. A breeze blows by, filled with refreshing smell of the salty sea water. Such a pleasant time to sit on the finery sand, basking in the weak sun ray in meanwhile enjoying the panoramic seascape.

Various activities

Along the seashore, there are plenty restaurants, bars and cafes where people could grab their meal when hungry, or enjoy their chillin moment. Hauendae market is also located not far from Haeundae Beach. After whole day having fun, people can have great accommodation experience at the sea-facing grand hotels. If it is family trip, parents can bring their children to Busan Aquarium too. The aquarium is near to the entrance of Haeundae beach. When nightfall, the beach environment is enlighten by the lovely music played by solo or duet performers.

In late May to early June, there will have Haeundae Sand Sculpture Festival. The annual activity brings dozen of world-class artists to the beach creating those giant and fascinating sand sculptures.
