Updated: Aug 26, 2023

Finding somewhere to runaway from urban life? Then you definitely couldn’t miss out Mipo Railroad in Busan.

The train trail looks endless

What is Mipo Railroad?

Mipo Railroad (also known as Mipo Train Trail), is an abandoned railroad of DongHae Nambu Line which connecting Haeundae Beach to Songjeong Beach.

Unique Features

Different from bustling Haeundae Beach, the old train railroad is tranquil and quaint. Definitely is somewhere off the beaten path that only locals know. It is a great place for relaxation, strolling on the beautiful endless railway.

The path might quite rough further down the track. Most of the people tend to leave after taking photo at the start point of railway. But do believe me, you won’t regret to continue the walk.

The landmark of Busan, Haeundae Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge also can be seen from here.

We were awe struck by the astonishing sights that runs deep in the place. The phenomenal view is certainly one for the books. Setting foot on the coastal walking trails along the cliffs, breathing the fresh sea breeze, eyes on the stunningly beautiful East Sea. The landmark of Busan, Haeundae Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge also can be seen from here.

The walk is indisputably the best by far. The destination is amazing and off the beaten path. Just plug in the earphone and enjoy your walk, surrounding yourself with the beauty of nature.

Astonishing sea view

The whole journey takes about 50min to finish. But every sweat worth its price. At the end of the train track, you can see two beautiful red and white lighthouse. Both are the marker of Cheongsapo fishing village. (❤ ω ❤)
